Small bakery along the highway near Victoria Harbour, this bakery has been all the rage for good reason! The options were varied... though all of small quantity, with lots of sweet options and a few savoury. The butter tarts were the star, though the spices inthem seemed slightly reminiscent of pumpkin pie which was not a favourite amongst my group. For lunch we bought some galettes inveggie and pear, which were well loved by all! Great bakery to stop by in the area with something for everyone! Read more

My wife and I came across this gem while staying close by for a summer holiday. We enjoyed it so much, we came back a second... time. All of the food is fantastic, from the chicken club sandwiches, to the brownies, to the incredible butter tarts. Probablythe best butter tarts we?ve ever had, so we bought more to take home. From the moment you step into the living rock poster decor, and that very warm and welcoming smile/greeting from the staff...... You KNOW you're in the right place! We stopped to grab some me lunch and treats. Their Buttertart selection is out of thisworld! We had to try the Blueberry Buttertart... If they loved it enough to print it on a giant poster it must be good...and Itwas absolutely fantastic!! We also went classic by trying the Pecan Buttertart. This was the most incredible of the two becauseit was the type of filling where it didn't pour out when warmed. The pecans must have been toasted before baking because thesePecan Buttertarts were some of the best I've had! (Not to mention the top having a perfect brule crunch) the shells were light,flakey and not too thick. For lunch I had the Reuben. The bread was buttered and toasted perfectly, crunchy and yet soft. Veryfresh. The Montreal Smoked Meat was accompanied by melted white cheese (swiss possibly) and topped with sauerkraut. The sandwichlaid on top of a bed of excellent kettle chips. The chips were top notch! It's like they made them themselves or had a greatsupplier. Lastly, I had the single greatest coffee I have ever had in my entire life from here.
