In a desert with not so many vegan options L’Gros Luxe really shines like a diamond! They have vegan meats, vegan cheese,... vegan burgers, and even vegan poutine. Many places will just offer you a veggie sandwich but still layer it on with mayonnaise(still has egg), but L’Gros Luxe has a full vegan menu, actually! Not a restaurant for vegans. I was really looking forward to the vegan food, and I was disappointed. I ordered the vegan poutine... and the cheese tasted like pieces of garlic so I took out the pieces of vegan cheese. Just the fries with the gravy tasted goodbut in my opinion $13 for that was too expensive. Even my friends that ordered vegetarian or meat plates were disappointed (theburrito, meat burger, veggie burger & fish and chips is what others at my table ordered).
