We found Magnolias by chance as I was Google dessert places while I?m Northern VA and I?m glad we found it. You know it?s a... great place when there is a wait at 8pm. The inside decorations were great and the atmosphere was nice. Great place for a datenight or hanging out with friends. Both of our desserts were very tasty. Service was great and fast. Beautiful presentation but varied quality at a high price point. I liked the homemade cake slice but felt like I could find... similar quality at a lower price in other Asian bakeries. Toast was dry. Nice ambience though, if you want to bring laptop andstudy on the second level. Read more
Went in with my family tonight to grab a quick dessert and drinks. There was a small wait at the door but it wasn?t too long and... we got in within 10-15 mins which was great considering there was 9 of us that came in. We ordered a variety of desserts anddrinks and everything tasted great! I?ve seen some comments of people being kicked out after being served their drinks andfood. While this is true the customers have to realize that the business is simply trying to capture as many sales as possiblegiven then demand that they have. If you want to stay longer than buy some more food or drink items. I get it from the gueststand point that you want to stay longer and enjoy your stay but with covid hitting restaurants hard in the last few years I canunderstand that now is the time to recapture the sales back and make some money. Support the business by helping them build moresales! Long story short, if guests plan to stay longer make sure to constantly order throughout the dining experience otherwisethey may ask you to leave if they have a substantial wait at the door. Ordered the honey toast, spinach & cheese creep, hot & iced latte. Decoration on the Nutella honey toast was awesome but... taste-wise I felt the bread was a bit hard. Spinach & cheese Creep was a bit saltier than expected. But great cozy and colourfulambience to chill and hang out with friends/close ones. Read more
