It's like a Five Guys but on steroids. The burgers are filling, greasy, and customizable. Great hangover meal. Milk shakes were... thick. The fries were stale when we got them but the sweet potato fries were fresh. Price will get'cha. We got two burgers, twofries, and a shake. $55. I visited on a Thursday evening to get some quick food after a multi day business trip. Ordering online went well, and my food... was ready as promised almost to the minute. Staff proved efficient with retrieving my order and all checked well. I especiallyappreciate the small business atmosphere and the community connections through their relationship with The Lamb Center. Iordered a double beef burger with lettuce, tomato, red onion, pickle, and mustard for a classic taste, a turkey burger withmushrooms, caramelized onions, and chimichurri sauce for a more earthy profile, and two orders of fries ? one regular whitepotato and the other sweet potato. The beef burger had the classic taste I wanted, even if I wonder whether the beef itselfcould have had more flavor and been more juicy. The turkey burger had some herb flavor with the chimichurri sauce going wellwith the other accompaniments. Both fry orders stayed warm after a car ride, so I was pleased with the thermal heat. The texturefor both seemed on the softer side even when accounting for the length of the car ride for this takeout order. Flavors tastedgood, although the sweet potato fries were a little over seasoned for my taste. Overall the bill totaled roughly $35 includingtax, so for Vienna prices the bill seemed reasonable at first glance. Social burger is a great blend of community which is exemplified in the diverse and changing menu. I love the local small... beverage company the rep "Picks" compared to big coca-cola and Pepsi. There is a rotating burger on the wall in a paper list soonce the ingredients are gone they switch to the next one. Today was a lamb patty melt. They have had a great Korean chickeninspired burger. The fries are like a boardwalk, thrashers, fries that beg for malt vinegar except their size is a little closerto shoe string for more crispness per lb than a larger fry. All in all this is a great burger spot and has usurped the burgerKing of the area for me, five guys. Read more
