Loved this place in the past. That was the past. This was one of the most disappointing meals I?ve had in Hampton Roads. We... ordered calamari as an appetizer and I ordered the NY Strip medium rare and a side of broiled crab cake. My sides were broccoliand mashed potatoes. My wife ordered the Mahi Mahi with crab imperial with side of Mac and cheese and green beans. Thecalamari was a plate of fried crumbs and about 12 pieces of calamari. Not bad but poorly served. My steak was not cookedcorrectly so I sent it back. By the time my food arrived everyone else was done eating. For a $36 streak this was well belowstandard. Bland, not close to 12oz, and tough. My mashed potatoes were anything but mashed. Stiff and hard and cold. Thefamous Mac and cheese was cold and not creamy. The fish and her crab was good and hot. The manager was apologetic and did theright thing by comp?ing the steak and calamari. That?s why I?m giving it 2 stars. Without the comp this would be 1. I DoubtI?ll be back. Very sad because this was a restaurant I used to recommend highly and was a place we used to come for specialoccasions. Read more
Staff was nice and food was good.Food portions were good, actually had too much bacon and didn't eat it all. The toast was just... a little small and that was the only thing I finished. The picture was after I ate some of the food. Read more
Had the Lobster bowl for Sunday brunch and one of their massive donuts. Delicious!!! Had a bit of a wait (45 minutes) despite... lots of empty tables. But they have a great menu...would love to come back to try more! Very generous portions! Friendlystaff! Highly recommend! Read more

I was able to check out the restaurant and I look forward to going back. It's a drive for me - I live in Suffolk - butit's worth it. Be mindful of parking and the weather - they have a gravel lot.
