I rarely write bad reviews but this was warranted. This place has undergone major changes. Menu is different and they are... getting rid of nearly all their wines. We were not properly informed when ordering what wines they had or did not have whichmade ordering for a party of 12 challenging. We were told they were getting rid of wines which is why they were out of nearlyall of them ... (confusing for a place called Lubo Wine Tasting Room). They told us ~60 minutes into our service there was nosalad and failed to bring us half of our food. At that point we realized something wasn?t right. I left the restaurant withouteating dinner .... All around bad service. We also came to find out our server was the front of house manager. It?s unclear tome if this person was just in that position for the day or always was the manager. He was unsure what wines they had and failedto tell us they were out of items after we ordered them. If you?ve worked in a restaurant before these are things that wouldhave been made clear to staff before dinner service started and would be expected to be known by the manager. 3.5 Stars. We've been loyal patrons of Lubo for over ten years, and it remains a go-to place for us. Along the way, we've had... fantastic meals and decent meals. The bleu cheese nachos are really great and we always enjoy the scallop tostada. The newchef has introduced some delightful tapas (Tuesday nights). There used to be a better wine selection, but it's still easy toget a decent glass of wine. We miss our favorite servers, and there are some who need to go. Scallop fondue was delicious, wine was great with a large selection to choose from, but our service and meal was severely... lacking. My blackened parrot fish was so salty I couldn't eat it and my boyfriend's steak was also extremely salty. We mentionedit to our server and she didn't have anything to say about it. We ended up paying full price for both dishes, despite the fishbeing inedible. I'm not going to argue about a check or cause a scene in the middle of a restaurant, but I definitely thinksomething should have been done to rectify our poor dining experience. I have a gift card to this restaurant, so I will bereturning and I hope to have a better experience in the future. Read more
This is a wonderful place, with amazing ambiance. There are many wines to choose from, but I thoroughly enjoy their brunch. The... dishes are very creative...most importantly tasty. The service wasn't the best today, but I believe they were short on staff. Iapologize for forgetting to take pictures of my meal. I was too anxious to dig-in. Read more
