the Italian ice and custard was as good as it always was but the service was slow, we got there about 15 minutes before closing... and the line was so long and the employees did not seem to be in a rush to help the customers. With three employees on we waitedin line for about 30+ minutes and after we had ordered had to wait another 20 minutes before we got our chocolate custard in acone. We stood by the window and watched as employees stood and texted on their phone and showed each other different thingsinstead of making any customers ice/custard. once it had been a substantial amount of time one of the employees opened thewindow and asked if we were waiting on something which we responded yes, only a chocolate custard in a cone. This could havebeen a fluke night as they did still have a line past closing time and could have been training but we felt very forgotten. Read more
Have a great variety of flavors! Service is great and the girls working are super friendly! Also, they have pup cups!!
Pros: My wife liked her twist cone and my daughter settled for frozen custard cotton candy, which she enjoyed. Cons: Poor/slow... service, dirty/unkept (ice cream cone and napkins under the ice cream machine), vanilla custard wasn't available, four peopleworking with one window open and it still took several minutes to attain our items (explains the line). This was a large and was $9. Chocolate custard but just tastes like crisco. Also when the girl handed to me her hand was on the... top of the cone not the wrapper, which is gross since she just touched my money. Read more

I love Rita?s as a native Philadelphian. But the service is waaaaay too slow. This is my second time this week and I?ve waited... in line for over 25 minutes each time! I?m actually in line writing this review. This is crazy! There is only 1 personworking and it was the same way last night. I feel so bad for her.
