This food is amazing, the flavor, volume and price can't be beat in all of North County San Diego. I'm so fortunate to live... within a few miles but would travel an hour to eat their authentic Mexican food. Their clientele consists of mostly Hispanicfolks and that says slot. It's clean with an A rating and the service is fast with very little wait even when it's busy. TheCarnitas is my go to plate but the Carna and Fish dishes can't be beat. This may have been the last time we frequent this restaurant. In the past the orders were very plentiful and delicious. One of... my favorites was the Corn Quesadilla. Today the quesadilla lacked the significant amount of cheese that made it a quesadilla. It now also costs more, all of the dishes are more. I understand the need to charge more, however if you are charging more andputting in less that is not right. So, I proceeded to speak with the attendant and he referred me to one of the lady cooks. Iwas in for a rude surprise, not only was she challenging me but she told that if I wanted more cheese I have to pay. I toldher I already paid for cheese to be in the quesadilla. She took the quesadilla, opened and stuck her finger IN the quesadillaand said, here is the cheese, pressing on a few strings of cheese. She then asked if I wanted more cheese for a fee or mymoney back. I was disgusted and said my money back as you just put your finger in my food. To which she answered my finger isclean. I said, ok I will not be coming back and seems you don't care about your customers. We were long time customers untiltoday. Good luck to the Customers! It was OK. I don't know that I would go out of my way to drive there for anything. We ordered rolled tacos... they had zero... taste, had the torta and the carnitas were dry, bread was good but hardly any mayo so the whole thing was pretty dry, alsoordered the gordita plate and the rice and beans were OK nothing special and the the Carne asada gordita was the same dry notmuch flavor it's good that we got salsa to put over everything because everything lacked flavor. Actually threw out theleftover, there were a lot just not worth the reheat. Service was nice and quick. Read more
