We stopped on our way to Austin instead of stopping at a big-chain fast food restaurant and this place was awesome! My fam was a... little worried when no one was there- but we went at an awkward time on a Friday afternoon between lunch and dinner. We all hadburgers with fries and tater tots and the entire family loved it! The burgers were the classic, diner- juicy with the perfectamount of toppings/condiments on them. The fries and tater tots were cooked to perfection. We will definitely stop by again ifwe head this direction! A must stop between Dallas and Austin! Service was excellent as well! Read more
Great fresh fantastic tasting 3 meat burger with cheese, bacon, avocados, fresh jalapeños, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles... and. Onion rings delicious as well as the Dewberry craft soda. Customer first service. Don't forget a huge fluffy but stillchewy brownie with nuts. Exceptional service and food. I was looking for a local place to meet my friends for an hour in Waco and this was a solid win.... (Also, it's away from traffic centers. Not so close to any of the sites, if that is a concern.) We did not participate in thechallenge (see pics) but it looked like fun, too. The men's bathroom was clean when I went in the store, but my wife hadexception to the women's. Maybe they could be a little more diligent about that. We will definitely stop here again when we arejust having a lunch in Waco. The menu has been updated (thanks to inflation) since the last picture I saw here, so I posted anew menu. We did not try the ice cream, but they offered Blue Bell, which is "the best ice cream in the country." Haha...but itmakes the store into a smaller version of Braum's. And better burgers, too.
