Great food and great service! As new locals we’ve been told it was worth trying but it took us almost a year for some reason.... So mad we didn’t try it sooner! We had a FANTASTIC meal! The whole family got to choose from a variety of food options and allof them were very good! I love my chicken Alfredo and thought it was a huge portion! We loved the dinner rolls and the queso diptoo! Very clean restaurant and overall I’d highly recommend you don’t miss it! Read more
Was in Waco for the day with the hubby and googled "best places to eat". This place popped up so we gave it a shot. We both... ordered "The George" burger. The bun was slightly toasted and sweet. The two burger patties had a little flavor. For me it wasokay but nothing I would come back to Waco to eat. My onion rings were basic and not flavorful. The dipping sauce was regularranch. So over all it was a decent place to have a late lunch but we probably won't be returning. Read more
Really great atmosphere and drinks. We thought there would be a long wait because of how long the line was but it went very... quickly because of how large the restaurant is and how many servers. The only reason it’s not getting a higher star rating isbecause the food was just okay. Maybe I ordered the wrong thing because I saw many people getting the wings so maybe they aremore known for that. Read more
Best Chicken Fried Steak I've had in a long time. Definitely has earned it's 15year run as best in Waco. Everything else we had,... from appetizers to drinks, was great too and the staff was very nice. It was a great dinning experience. Read more

This was our second great experience at George’s. The wait staff was extra nice from when we entered until we left…. Made us... feel at home in Waco!
