Dom De Luca's Waimea for lunch: Service was mediocre... I'm tired of going out and people just aren't friendly. Onion soup was... like boiled onions in dish water Caprese salad had all the right flavors Carbonara (my husband's dish) missed the mark FrescoVerde (my dish) was edible, the garlic could have been cooked a little more "Garlic" Bread came with both pasta dishes. Nogarlic flavor detected- just buttered bread. Our stomachs started hurting not too long after and we had to use the toiletmultiple times during the early evening. Read more
Very disappointing food. We ordered the shrimp pasta and the carbonara. The shrimps were still raw so had to send it back. Was... returned to me with the prawns slightly more cooked and full of oil. Honestly it was impossible to eat, same as thecarbonara. The server was very kind, obviously not her fault, but would not recommend or go back. Read more
Went for a drive up the Hamakua Coast Easter Sunday. We stopped by Dom de Luca's. A beautiful Italian restaurant hidden in the... KTA shopping center. Nicely decorated with a full bar. Amazing selection of spirits 12 year old Scotch and Cognac as well as anexcellent selection of wine and champagne. We had the Greco pizza and a glass of champagne ???? ???? Our food was outstanding inboth taste and presentation. Big Mahalo's to Katie, Jessie and Noe for excellent service and great conversation. Excellent food and service. The shrimp scampi was very good. Pasta was home made and delicious. Triple Chocolate Brownie with... Vanilla ice cream and caramel drizzle and whipped cream was yummy as well. Read more

This cute hidden gem offers amazing cuisine and excellent service for a reasonable price. There are many gluten free and... vegetarian options as well! It smells great and is very clean. My partner and i enjoyed discovering a new place we can bothorder something that suits our dietary needs, as this is rare for us. If you?re having a full dinner (appetizer, soup/salad,entree, dessert, 2 beverages) plan for $75-100/per head, it will be excellent. If you just have entrees you can do the usual~$50 for two folks that is common at good restaurants and food trucks on our island.. bonus, there is a gallery to peruse and abar, and the artwork is worth checking out.
