Unfortunately the place has gone down hill since Bobby left. Had the chicken, broccoli pizza tonight. Chicken was overcooked,... broccoli was undercooked, sauce was non existent and the dough was burnt. Other meals we got were average. Only thing that I’drate highly is spaghetti and meatballs. That’s pretty sad! Time to find another good Italian restaurant in the area. Read more
It's ok, maybe we got unlucky. We got 2 pastas, one had enough sauce that after eating all the noodles there was still a half... bowl of marinara left over, on the other the sauce was thin enough that it seemed like just penne and shrimp. They felt alittle like the difference between a home cook's version of a meal vs a professional chef's version. We were given the homecook. Bellino’s is a hidden treasure! Before going, I wondered how it would be under new ownership. Let me tell you, It’s still... incredible!! I read some other recent reviews w minor comments, and wonder if that was new owner working out kinks last 2months? I met Wendy, 1 of the new owners, and she is wonderful. Let’s start with the drink/ food – we were a party of 7ladies all served incredible cocktails. We laughed at how “brimming to the top” they were. All of our dishes arrivedtogether and hot. I had the pasta with shrimp and artichoke and it was delicious. Everyone raved about their food. Thewaitresses were all very nice and attentive. I almost want to keep this place a secret…where else can you eat “ON THEWATER” and not have to drive 20 to 30 min? Having Bellino’s in Wakefield is just a treasure – the drinks, the food, theservice and of course Lake Quannapowitt. Read more

I so wanted to like it after reading great reviews and we probably hit it at the wrong time with a large loud party there. ... North end scallops was like scallops in lightly seasoned milk with a few crumbs on top and the sausage gnocchi special had nosausage except possibly totally puréed in the sauce. Needed a spoon to eat with the thin sauces but our server didn’t checkwith us until we were more than half done and then forgot when I asked. It was nice that they left a bottle of water on thetable but that went fast and I couldn’t get my servers attention for more until we asked for the check When our order wastaken for the scallops we were asked if we wanted pasta or potato with it- I assumed it came with it but we were charged $2 -not much but it would have been nice to have been told it was an upcharge. I would have told them all this instead of postingbut unfortunately I didn’t have the opportunity I felt it was only deserved 2 stars but I don’t like to hurt business I’msure you will have a better food and service than we did - I was hoping to come back with family but we won’t be bc of thisexperience PS I just read more recent reviews and see that it changed ownership- I hope they take heed and make improvements Read more
