The Hotel was a bit dated, and the shower in our room was absolutely the worst. The pool needed its chemicals to have been... balanced better and I am guessing the pool heater isn't working either, and the pool itself should have some kind of enclosure.The Lounge/restaurant had been closed. Used to be great, but after it was bought out by some rich guy from LA, everything seems to be going downhill. Seen the manager... verbally berate employees in front of customers, which was appalling. Now we learn that the two waitresses that we specificallywent to this restaurant for, were fired so the LA owner could plant his own people in. This is no longer a local communitycentered business, and I suggest doing some research and supporting a restaurant that contributes to Waldport and the localareas. Will not be back Read more
We came here recently and I just want to say that the food was great. I was pleasantly surprised and will be coming back to the... area next weekend and look forward to enjoying another meal there. The only thing that I saw and thought was crazy is that thebartender was there alone and doing it all. She was great but I would hope ya'll get more staff. Read more
Went to dinner last night and what an incredible change! The menu has changed, the food was incredible, the new girl working was... by herself and had a full restaurant and still managed to great service and kept our drinks coming. It was the best experiencewe?ve EVER had at waves. Hoping this continues as Waldport needs a place like this and the views are great!! The only suggestionwould be to get a breakfast going we live in Bayshore and would love a good weekend breakfast place..and get more staff but theykilled it last night and we will spread the word about the new great changes!
