My wife and I frequent Kinchleys Tavern. Nellie's place and Kinchleys are hands down the best thin crust pizza in North Jersey,... and possibly even in the entire state. I've never tried Nellie's until now and I gotta say - they give Kinchleys a run for theirmoney. With that said, I gotta say I still do enjoy Kinchleys pizza a tiny bit more. Was 5 of us and we shared a couple of pizzas which I would recommend. Guiness was also pretty good. Not much of a tap list,... but had the typical Irish Pub beers. Service and prices were good. Read more
Food is delicious. Had Shepherds Pie, which was great but for some reason didn't have peas and carrots in it. My wife had... grilled chicken on a roll with gravy and mozzarella, great. Simply incredible thin crust pizza! Well balanced and not over cooked. I live over a hour away and try to get down to Nellies a... couple times a year. It?s so good you can easily eat a bar pie or two by yourself. Read more

The food is okay, never have had anything I didn?t like but also wasn?t over the top delicious, it was just okay, a good place... for lunch or dinner since they?re also not too overpriced. I gave it 3 stars because they always seem to be short staffed andhave you wait a while to be seated since it?s busy and if the hostess isn?t available to seat you, no one even looks your way totry and accommodate you or take down your name, that definitely needs a little work, other than that it?s an okay place to goand enjoy a meal.
