We stopped at Charlie's on our way home from Bemidji. The menu was diverse, with lots of good choices. The servers were very... attentive and friendly. The food we ordered came out promptly and was delicious. We will definitely stop in again, the next timewe're in the area. Read more
I just left this establishment and the only thing I can say, we won?t be back. We waited over an hour for our meals. The salad... bar was empty except for the lettuce and gross pasta salads. All of the toppings were empty. My husband ordered ribs andchicken. The chicken was obviously soaked in a salt bath and tasted like salt, to the degree that he didn?t eat it. The ribswere dry and very tough. The onion rings were very greasy and mushy. My prime rib was 1/2 fat and I am not even kidding. Justgross. The mixed veggies were cold. We ate maybe 1/3, simply because we were hungry. After waiting for the check, I went andfound our server and told her we wanted our check so we could leave and she said we would have to wait until she had time. WTH? And may I add, the restaurant was 75% empty. Our bill was wrong $77.49, but we paid because we just wanted to get out ofthere. My best advice- keep on moving down the road. Do not stop. Read more

1 of 5 tables when we arrived for lunch on a weekday, but waited an hour for food. Saw others who sat 15-20 minutes after us get... their food first. Questioned server, who said kitchen prioritizes smaller groups. We got 2 sandwiches and Mac and cheese(obviously reheated) for the 2 kids... ? When food did arrive, fries and girls' dishes were cold and sandwiches lukewarm. Servernever checked in on us after food arrived until she dropped off the check, though hubby had an issue with his sandwich. This wasa frustrating restaurant experience. Read more
