5 because of Michael. You are great, you saved it. Such a good guy, thank you for coming and talking to us ???? I will be... listening! Also 5 because your food is AWESOME. Cudos chef. The sunfish dish, so good ( and i make my own..) gotta get that. but that tomato relish is SOMETHING ELSE, comes with the fish. So simple and fresh and delicious..????. I love tomatoanything. Like, I tried to get recipe info off the chef, sitting under the deck, on break. He didn't cave. We all know whatis like to be busy, tired, rushed, don't wanna work ...BUT we wanna come see you and eat your food and sit on that GREAT deck. With really nice slips. How about a hi, you got about 20 minutes, go sit down outside. With a smile Read more

After fishing on Leech lake for a few hours I decided to dock the boat and grab a bite to eat. Litte did I know what a treat... this place is. To start I had water and a Crown Crush. Its a mellow alcohol drink with a beautiful color and a rich peach taste.Next was a classic order of potato skins. The dish is served with 6 pieces of half cut russet potatoes toped with a lot ofcheese, bacon bits and chives. With a side of ranch dressing as a dipping sauce this appetizer was perfect. The final dish wascream of rice soup. I don't eat soup often but this soup was absolutely worth every penny. In the end the foods and proportionsizes are good, the atmosphere of the outside deck was great until the mosquetos joined and the service was over the top. Thewaiter even brought my dog Gill a bucket of water! I can't wait to go back! Read more

This is a very over recommended place to stop. The dinning area is quite small and reservations highly recommended. The wait... staff can make you feel a little anxious with an obvious sense of being what can be seen as understaffed from the moment you arefinally recognized and then rushed off to an opening and graciously seated. There is an out door patio which is as the nameimplies, on the lake, and has a nice open and breezy offering. But inside tables share the view just the same. The menu is verylimited with signature type sandwiches. But what is there for choice is delivered with a fancy Gourmet flavor and leaves amemorable taste. I think the chief needs more attention and is one of the main staple to the reason for repeat visits. Read more

Very slow service. Food was cold and tasteless. We ordered deep fried walleye and it was baked. Very very dry with no taste. ... Asked for melted butter for dried potatoes and was handed 2 patties. She never came to table after the food was dropped, I hadto go find her. Was looking for something more than bar food, should have gotten cold chicken from Orton's. I don't think I'dstop agsin. The service is surly. Quite rude when they turn you away (we wanted to sit outside and she discouraged us from waiting for... something to open up). This happened to my husband a couple of weeks ago on a business lunch. It was chaotic and they wereturned away. Food GOOD, outside seating is lovely. Our waitress was good when we did eat there. They need either differentmanagement or better hosting. I would give it a better rating but we were kinda turned away TWICE. Read more
