Over the course of a weekend we ate dinner twice and came in for wine. Everything was top notch from service, food, cleanliness,... and friendliness of staff. It was the first time we had come across the self-serve wine dispensers. That was worth the trip totest it out. Items we ordered that were excellent and we would again were the pizzas (GOAT and Margherita), Mac n Cheese, FrenchOnion Soup, Brushetta, and all of the salads. Great atmosphere and we felt welcome each time we visited. Read more

Uncle and Aunt took me to The fainting goat because of its uniqueness and I was not disappointed! The building is full of... history and as mentioned has such a unique look and feel, modern yet classic nostalgia. ???? We all got a different pizza whichI believe is Brickhouse style. We where so hungry we didn't even take pictures if the pizzas. But trust me, each one is killer!???? The Huckleberry Wheat Ale was absolutely to die for ???? Read more

I have been here a couple times. The french onion soup is a show stopper and a fall favorite. I had the spicy Italian Panini and... it was a little too spicy for me, but my husband loved it. The cowboy Mac and cheese was also very good. I couldn't resist theBinet for dessert, it was good, but not traditional; more like a donut. AC is light, which is great because you are not freezingor sweating. Read more

Nice eatery in Wallace. The atmosphere was great. We had a lovely bottle of Huckleberry Blush local to the region. Our appetizer... was superb - fried mozzarella with a basalmic reduction, pesto, and marinara as dipping choices. Each one was a taste treat. Ourentree was the baked ziti. This alone could have been a great dish, but ours was watery and lacking the flavor it could havehad. When the waitress asked, we were honest. The manager came to visit our table and apologized for that, thanking us forbringing it to their attention. I look forward to another visit when next we visit the area. Read more

The Fainting Goat is, in my opinion, the BEST restaurant in Wallace, ID! I tried many of their dishes and they were ALL... fantastic! From the brick oven pizzas, to their soups, Cajun pasta, fried pickle spears and even their onion rings, youabsolutely cannot go wrong picking anything off their menu! The owner, Drew, and his staff, consisting of his wife, his sons, who are both wait staff and cooks, to his dedicated servers, Amy, Kinsey and Sharon, among others, make this a fun, inviting andwelcoming atmosphere! (Unfortunately, I wasn't able to try any of their wines, which are plentiful, or other adult beverages, because I usually stopped by at lunch while working, but it's a nice place to just enjoy a glass of wine, or two, also!
