Wow, where do I even begin? The vibe, the food, the drinks, the service – unmatchable. Literally the only complaint I have is... that I was upset I got full so fast because I could have tried everything on the menu. The restaurant looks small from theoutside but when you enter, you realize the place is huge. Not only was I looking for good Cuban food, but I was looking for aplace with a sexy atmosphere and options for both indoor and outdoor dining. As one of the very few authentic Cuban restaurantsin the Boston area, Gustazo Cuban Kitchen & Bar in Waltham, MA didn’t disappoint. Great food and atmosphere. Our main server seemed to also be tending bar. As such, he was slow checking in us. The expediters... brining out our small plates were very quick and efficient. Visited Gustazo for the first time and I'm totally impressed with the level of quality and creativity offered in this unique and... vibrant restaurant. It was totally packed to the gills for Thursday dinner, and it took a bit of time to be seated and getservice, but was well worth the wait! Our server, Dee, was exceptionally cheerful, accommodating and attentive. The dishes thatmy lovely date and I ordered were simply friggen delicious! I had the flank steak; absolutely one of the most tender and wellseasoned steaks I've had in years, along with irresistible rice and juicy roasted plantains.
