This is a beautiful course. And a good deal for the price. My group all would definitely play again. It was in great shape.
Beautiful golf course on the marsh but the employees there where horrible and had no costumer service. That was by far the worst... golf experience I?ve ever had. The starter told my mom who is a beginner to leave first hole because it?s not a good time toteach golf. After paying over $300. Just totally shocked by everything and would never recommend River town. Go to Dunes westinstead. Read more
Course was in good condition and fun to play. They need new management as nothing they do makes a lot of sense. We showed up... wanting to get a Bloody Mary and we?re told they don?t open the bar until 10. Why? Then on the turn we ordered a chicken saladsandwich, waited 20 minutes, asked the bartender if they could bring them out to us and then ended up grabbing them after golfwas over. If you go with zero expectations of service, you will enjoy the course. Read more
GOLFERS BEWARE! The staff at this course is HORRIBLE!!! We are 4some group of young fit guys. Shoot high 80?s / low 90s on all... course in Charleston. When trying to play here today, the starter argued with us telling us we couldn?t play from the memberstees. They were afraid he would hold up pace of play. They tried for 15 min to get us to play from the senior tees. When wefinally got out, we spent the day waiting on tee boxes and getting hit into by the group behind us. When we called the rangerthey said there was nothing they could do about it. If you looking for a relaxing day of golf go play wild dunes resort courseor Charleston national. Have you ever wandered when you see almost all 5 star reviews what the couple people who gave it 1 star are thinking. Riverowne... country club is at the top of my list. Its not Augusta but for a course the average joe can play its great. If I could give it6 stars I would. I have played from coast to coast n it is at the top of my list in every aspect. Read more
