Great homemade ice cream, lots of flavors, toppings, and sauces to choose from. Friendly atmosphere. A couple of bench seating... outside. This place is better & more reasonably priced than Cold stone Read more

I really don?t like giving somewhat negative reviews to local businesses, but I was really disappointed with my latest... experience here. We got 3 regular size cups of ice cream and they were honestly the chintziest scoops I?ve ever bought from ascoop shop (if you?ve ever been to Tanner Bros when their counter was open, you know those cups were filled and then some). Iincluded two pictures of what they consider a regular size, or ?two? scoops? at $5.75 a cup, the amount of ice cream you get islaughable. I get that the economy is rough right now, but that?s ridiculously overpriced. It?s good ice cream, sure, but assomeone else said, I?d also much rather spend that on a pint of Ben & Jerry?s. Regarding taste, the cookies and cream left aweird residue on the roof of my mouth, which means it was likely over-churned. Also seemed like it was freezer burnt. Thecoconut and coffee caramel crunch were good at least, though it?s too bad we didn?t get to enjoy it for very long consideringthe serving size. Regarding customer service, the guy who was working put two flavors in the same cup instead of separate onesbecause he didn?t take the time to actually listen to what I was saying. On top of that, he barely said anything during theordering process; it was just weird service overall. We had bought Uncle Mike?s a few times during the pandemic and I guess Ijust looked past the serving size and price because it was a difficult time for a lot of businesses, but unfortunately, I don?tthink I will be coming back here again. This was some of the worst & most expensive ice cream I?ve ever had. I thought Ben & Jerry?s was too expensive at $7.50 but this... terrible ice cream was $8.50. Thinking it has to be good if it?s home made. I?ve had some bad ice cream but this was by far theworst ice cream I?ve ever had. I went to sprinkles in Elkins Park for years. If you want real ice cream go there. Hell, Wawa andAldi ice cream is far better than this garbage. I?m actually going to throw it away and just get Ben and Jerry?s. At least Iknow it?s good. Seriously, the worst ice cream I?ve ever had. Read more

As far as the ice cream goes, pretty good, which made up for horrible customers service and policies. As a 1st time guest, I... asked for a sample to which I was directed to a sign stating NO SAMPLES. 9 of us were waiting to be served by one hostess while2 others began serving others who came in after us. I placed two orders and attempted to have them handed to me so we couldenjoy them before they melted, only to be told we couldn't eat them until all orders were taken and paid for...while thehostesses continued serving other customers instead of the remaining 7 in our party. Then " uncle Mike" entered and told ourparty that unless they were being served, they had to wait outside. (Again, while other hostesses failed to serve our group andserved others instead). By the time they finished the last order, the earlier ones were melted bowls of ice cream sitting on thecounter because we couldnt have them yet. What a joke! Certainly a sad experience. Read more

Great old fashioned ice cream parlor. Wide variety of flavors. No seating inside but a few benches outside. Good place to take... someone who wants just plain vanilla but they also have a variety of adventurous flavors. I highly recommend the crazy coconut! Also can?t wait to bring my dog back a pup cup!
