Well this meal made me a believer...in Fazolis. I've gotten chicken scampi at OG for over 20 years. This was by far the worst.... Over cooked, fatty chicken pieces, over sauced, half a jar of garlic, and not enough noodles created a meal that while I ate it,with my very first bite, I decided I'll not come back to this particular location. It's not my first bad meal here, and again, Ionly eat chicken scampi, but it will be my last. Hubs has the lunch portion of spaghetti which was a child size portion, minewas the full dinner portion but you sure couldn't tell. Bread was lackluster. Save your hard earned money and go elsewhere. I personally don't like Italian cuisine. However I was entreated to dinner by a good friend. Had to watch my glucose numbers, so... soup and salad was the fare. Service and food were both disappointing. They need to work on communication between workers too. I took my sister here... yesterday for her birthday and we were sat relatively fast. I'm pretty sure our waitress accidentally took a table not in hersection because another waitress came right after her to take our order and seemed confused when we said it was already taken.First thing we ordered was our drinks (water) and a peach bellini. When our waitress Taylor came back around again we orderedcalamari, ziti with salad, and chicken parm with soup. Our waters came out, we were told they were working on the peach belliniand it would be out soon. Soup came out, she said the salad and bread would be out soon. The salad came out, no bread.Everything took a while to come out, mind you. We had to ask about the bread before it was finally brought out, and also had toask for the peach bellini. We asked about the calamari after since we knew it would take a bit longer and it came out soonafter- but it was NOT cooked right. It was not crispy. No crunch. It was floppy like a piece of rubber. We were very hungry atthis point so we ate it anyways- it didn't taste bad but the texture was off and I was very disappointed because usually I lovethe calamari. Half the croutons in my sisters salad were stale, I picked one out to try and it was like CARDBOARD. The main dishwas decent, and the chicken and gnocchi soup I had wasn't bad. The waitress wasn't around all that much though, we didn't have akiosk for some reason and they didn't have one to give to us. I felt bad for the two old ladies sitting near us, they had askedfor some pumpkin cheesecake to go and had to ask 3 different people about the slice they never got before it was finally broughtout. So the food was great as always. I got the never ending soup and salad and the waitress couldn't be bothered to come and see if... I even wanted a second bowl. It wasn't until she came to see if we wanted the check that we seen her again after the food wasbrought out and when I said I wanted another bowl it seemed to bother her.
