Way over priced for tiny tacos that you can't mix and match. Some of the food taste good but small. Also what will keep us away... is the $10 Jack & cokes in a regular whiskey glass. I could buy a bottle for the price of 2 drinks. It's a shame it would havebeen fun to have girls day on the patio but not at those prices. I cant see this place truly surviving with the cost andportions. No complimentary chips and salsa. Limes were so dry you couldn't squeeze anything out of them. Just disappointing. Read more

Stopped in again and it doesn?t disappoint! The new stuffed squash blossoms were outstanding. If you are looking for a... mariachi band and $1.00 taco night, this is not the place for you. Came again on 1/24. I have to say Calavera is on point now! Meat in tacos nice and hot, flavors delicious, and fantastic... service. Glad they made some improvements since they first opened. Everyone should try a taco at Calavera!!! Very good tacos!Not sure what the other guy is talking about with the meat and veggie portions. All of our tacos were perfect and very filling.Only suggestions I have are to serve the appetizer chips warm along with the taco fillings. Also, the cocktails are very uniqueand balanced. Tried again on 12/23 pleasent experience however the taco meat was lukewarm. I would prefer it to be hot. Mysister was not happy with her taco because there was a lot of fat chunks in the pork. However the flavor was fantastic and wealso got desert, which was really good. If you guys cook and serve right away so meals are hot, I will definitely be back! Read more

Great addition to the area. From scratch authentic tacos. Margaritas and great cocktails. 20 draft beers. Handmade chips and... corn tortillas. Everything is superb. The owner also owns Proper Brick Oven downtown which is also a phenomenal restaurant. Iknow this place will continue to get better and better as they add to the menu and open for lunch.
