I will say this was my second time into the Cafe in two weeks. Leo is an amazing bartender, server and person. Gave us great... recommendations on ideas for dinner. I could kick myself for not taking a picture. I was too busy drooling over the taco salad I ordered. It's the best in the area!... They make their own tortilla bowl. Fried to a perfect crisp and filled with fresh taco meat(ground beef) lettuce, tomato,olives, salsa, jalapenos(if you choose), and sour cream. Service was friendly and prompt. Prices were a little higher than I'mused to, but the food was a lot better than I'm used to so will gladly visit again. Read more
Very nice interior decor and vibe. The outside looks a bit bland and it's in a strip mall plaza so I was pleasantly surprised... with the interior design and feel. I sat outdoors on the patio as it was a nice day. Small patio but very cozy. Service wasslow (they were pretty busy) and not very warm. But, my food arrived correctly and it was delicious so I'll be back! I reallywanted to try breakfast but they only serve breakfast until 11am so I had to have the Monte Cristo. Uptown Cafe serves up a great breakfast with all the usual. Today's meal was steak hash with over easy eggs. Share with my girl.... The kids got French toast and pancake.
