I had written a long review on saporitos but not sure where it went so here I go- I love this place. I'm from Brooklyn, my... husband is from staten Island, and it's hands down the best pizza around this area. Before they opened we were really settlingfor the places around. They're so so friendly, and even catered my at home wedding. Everyone LOVED the food, they were shockedwhen they heard it came from our local pizzeria. I also just want to add for those who had a negative experience, everyrestaurant has a bad day once in a while. Has it happened? Sure, but 9/10 times being perfectly delicious is a rare find. Theyalso get absolutely swamped with orders some days since there aren't many places around. If you've had one bad experience, Iguarantee they're worth giving it another shot. Read more
Listen, I?m saying this because I want this place to succeed. The food was terrible. The chicken and fries were probably the... worst chicken and fries I?ve ever had. The chicken tasted plasticy and was chewy. The fries were tasted stale and somehow chewyand crunchy at the same time. The pizza was ok. Not great but better than the chicken and fries. It was very large and that wasabout the only good thing about my experience. I?m sure there are good people behind this restaurant but man, this place needsto step it up. Honestly, it's the best Sicilian slice in the area. Wings are really nice, food is good here. Service was an issue for awhile,... believe it was because of the kitchen staff.
