Food was fantastic, our waitress was amazing, she was fast and constantly keeping an eye on our drinks and extra plates on the... table etc... a fantastic dining experience. The elder woman of the two hostess' was relatively rude when we arived. Ordered arare steak that in my opinion was overcooked but none the less still delicious. They could really use a cleaner as well. Butthe thing that bothered me the most was the "honest to goodness tax" that they put onto my bill without any warning. Afterreading responses to other reviews and their generic response, it is fairly clear that this resteraunt doesn't actually have anyinterest in improving or care what their customers feel. Me and my friends when to Wasaga beach and decided to go to Chuck's for dinner. We got there at 8:12pm and was told to wait... outside for a few minutes and was told that we are lucky someone left so we got the table a bit earlier, that was about8:17-ish. Menu was brought to us right away, and we decided what we are going to have within a few minutes, but the waitresstook about 20 to 23 minutes to get to us, not even water was served. During the wait, our table was bumped twice and thewaitresses never apologized. we have asked other waitresses whether we can order food or not but was ignored. Finally ourwaitress came and took our order, said nothing else but what do we want to eat. Took another 20 to 25 minutes until our foodfinally came, but was served by another employee. Our waitress came to ask us if we wanted any ketchup half way through themeal, which the condiment should of be there in the first place. Not to mention, I ordered a medium rare New york steak but wasmore like a medium well done, kinda burned on the surface. One of my friend ordered the new dish lamb chop, but was extremelyhard and dry throughout the meat, he had a very difficult time cutting it to smaller pieces, not tender as it was advertised,also the meat was more like a lamb loin chop instead of just lamb chop (see first picture). Other friend ordered a bone-in newyork, the edges was completely burned, hard and dry (see second to fourth photo). The worse thing is there was a piece ofchicken on his plate, which was not part of the menu. On the bill, there was a honest to goodness 3% tips (see fifth photo), ifthe 3% goes to the live music singer, that's worth it, but if it was to the waitress, idk why it was on our bill. Personally Iwould not visit this location again since everything pretty much went wrong, not hundred percent sure if the staff is a littlebit rasist, but we definitely didnt feel comfortable dining there. Not a bad place too eat. The blonde hostess/server with the gorgeous eyes was impatient and rude. Our server was busy and barely... around. Live music was nice, they were "ok". Huge portions. Never heard of Chuck's until recently. Went in to try their half price apps after 9pm deal, was rather impressed. The food was... great, we had wings, nachos, loaded fries and the garlic bread, all of them were quite tasty. The full prices were more thanreasonable in today's market and the half price was just delightful!! Service was friendly and attentive, we felt well lookedafter but not pestered.
