Went to this winery today. The gentleman working advised they were not offering wine tastings. I??m assuming this is due to... COVID?? Of course he didn?t say. I love buying from local wineries so I can taste what I?m buying. It?s difficult to make thepurchase not knowing. I asked for a recommendation for a semi-dry wine. He recommended the Riesling and 2 others and offered noexplanation for any. Since we drove from Pittsburgh we decided to purchase the Riesling. I took the bottle out of the bag whenwe arrived at home and on the label is semi-sweet. We asked the employee several times if the wine was semi-dry. The wine isgood. I really wish the employee was more enthusiastic to tell us about the wine since they don?t offer tastings. I?ve been to 3wineries in PA during this pandemic, all of them are offering tastings. I also checked their website prior to my visit andthere?s nothing about them not offering wine tastings. Read more
