One of my favorite places to visit when I?m in the Washington, PA area. Found this place nearly 30 years ago and truly hope it... will be just as charming for the next 30 to come! I am plant based, can?t eat much here anymore and still can?t wait to stopby. Today we came for apple cider and pie. Their baked goods, cheeses, jams, breads and ice cream are all worth tasting as arethe variety of salad and sandwich items. The Springhouse catered our son and daughter n law's rehearsal dinner. From the first contact with Jill to the delivery person,... everybody was so friendly and professional. The food was fantastic and the hot food hot and the salads were cold. They hadeverything set up for us while we were at the venue. No worries for me. 10 stars! Read more
Would've been 5 stars ???? however it's really expensive. The food is amazingly good & I'd love to eat here more often but I... can't afford it. Lunch for 1 person $20. Not a big fan of overpriced restaurants and bakery's.. $16.99 served lunch room style... Not for that price... Many of the... items have no prices, $2.50 for a pint of chocolate milk.. I could continue about the pricing just because I like to know whatI'm paying... The service was fine although I was charged $16.80 for an item that I didn't get nor buy... so I have no ideawhat the charge was for. And the guy before me was charged $12 for a pint of coffee milk.... Now as for the quality of thefood, the breads are very fresh and 1 of my pies was even still warm... mmmmmm. So not complaining about taste... like thefresh chocolate milk that was $2.50... it was great...
