I have been to this place 2 times now. Really appreciated that they let their light shine for Jesus???? First time the cherry... bbq bacon burger was a surprise as to how good it was! Came back this year to have it again and see if it was as good as Iremember? It was! The waitress was super helpful and knowledgeable about the area and the owners actually won the guinness bookof world records for kayaking! Honestly I was a little wary due to the Christian slant of the business, when I am in fact a demon. However, the breakfast was... delicious and filling! Great service. I didn't devil anyone the rest of the day, instead enjoyed bicycling the island. MaybeI've just been hangry all along. Read more

This place has amazing food. It was run by a sweet little lady. When you go you need to make sure you are not in a rush... because it does take awhile to get the food, but the wait was worth it. Read more

Check in was at 3, I got there at 530 and the heritage room wasn't ready. The woman checked us in and showed us the room... anyways. One of the main reasons I booked this room was for the whirlpool but the hot water wouldn't turn on, leaving itcompletely useless. We got dinner and came back at 630 and she was still working on the room so we drove around with nothing todo until 7 when we were finally able to get in. The floors were creaky, the hot water in the shower was finicky, the walls werethin so you could hear everything your neighbors were doing and saying, the bedsheets were stained, the porch area was indisarray, and the hallways were covered in cobwebs and spiders. The dining area was a mess and the whole place smelled likedirty dish water. We didn't even bother staying for their breakfast, we took the first ferry off the island. Overpriced for what you get. The bacon was excellent, but the breakfast came with only a couple tablespoons of potatoes. ... Potatoes are so inexpensive, at least serve a bunch of those so people aren't going away hungry. The atmosphere was also toobusy with knick knacks all over and a bunch of different tables and chairs that didn't match. Felt like eating at a rummagesale. I liked that it's a Christian business and am writing this in hopes that they tweak some things and make this a betterdining experience. Read more
