I was driving to New Hope to pick something up. Along the trip, I saw a billboard and the tag line got my attention. It said,... Check out our buns! Then I saw Tommy's and hamburgers. Then I forgot about it. About 20 minutes later, I was driving past and aflag caught my attention that said open. And it was Tommy's. The same place from the billboard. I wanted to stop but had a settime to meet someone and didn't want to be late. I made sure I took same route home. I stopped and they were open. Looking attheir menu, I ordered the 8oz bacon cheeseburger, fries and a drink. I was super excited to see and try out this "bun" that thebillboard mentioned. The staff was very friendly and that burger, bacon and bun did not disappoint. It was absolutely AMAZING.The burger was cooked perfectly, the bacon was crispy and the bun, well that was awesome. Fries were great too. They were freshand not limp. If you are going past......STOP. If you're not planning on going......change your mind, it's worth the trip. If you're looking for that old-timey hamburger shop vibe and menu, this place has that and more. Service is great, and the food... is about as good as it gets, right down to the shakes. We also like how simple and unpretentious it all is. Highly-recommended,and certainly worth the drive. Read more
