This place is way more than just a soup kitchen. The staff here are always kind, respectful and generous. You can tell they are... there to make a difference in people's lives. The meals they serve are healthy, generously portioned and taste good. The weeklyfood pantry is well organized with plenty to choose from - and the entire building is clean. I just got a turkey to make onThanksgiving and they provided the sides as well, more stuff than I needed or was expecting. I also signed up for Christmasgifts for my kids. I've been consistently impressed with the way their staff treats the guests like family - that alone hashelped me stay hopeful through tough times.
