This was recommended by our hotel and it did not disappoint. I asked for an IPA, and I got a very tasty local one. I wish I... could remember the name. The egg rolls appetizer were different, and tasty. The burger was awesome, and so was the Chipotlechicken sandwich. Nice friendly stuff, and decent prices. Worth the trip there. Read more

The reservoir beer pub is located on main Street at the end of Stowe road. This puts it on a very easy 3/4 mile walk from the... Best Western motel in Waterbury. My wife had suggested this, but I had reservations because other reviews indicated service wasvery poor recently. That turned out not to be the case as service was fast and friendly despite the pub being very full. Thedeck is set back from the street and quieter than inside. All tables outside were filled. I am not much of a beer drinker sinceI am the designated driver usually. Since we walked, I was able to get the Von Trapp Helles Golden Lager on draft. I had theVermont burger which was better than average. My wife enjoyed the Switchback ale. She enjoyed the seared salmon. I was gladshe dissuaded me from my choice. I have been hunting down the best burgers in the state of VT. This place was on a top 10 list. Wow I had the bacon Blu burger... and it was FIRE. I was loving the vide inside the place as well.
