My wife and I are both residents who live right around the corner of this restaurant. We went to go try it for the first time... and we will not be back. We had ordered water with no lemon and no ice. Thinking they would bring us out water in a cup like anyother restaurant would do. About 10 minutes later the owner of the restaurant brought us out bottle water. We thought it musthave been a nice gesture as it took far too long to get our drink order. Sadly, we were wrong. They added $2 per water on ourorder. When I asked why they said "we always do that for outside dinning" they didn't even tell us before we ordered that watercosts money as in all other restaurants it is free. The owner eventually removed the charge from our bill, but not without beingrude to us saying "I get it, you want free water." If this is what you are going to do to pay for your live band then at leasttell your customer about it when they order water instead of hiding till the bill. Unfortunately, you have lost us as customersand anyone else who asks us about your restaurant all over your sleazy business tactics that operate similar to a used cardealership. And for the record, the food was mediocre at best. Drive a few more minutes down the road to a Mystic restaurantthat is properly run and has higher quality food. Read more
I was preparing a member development meeting with 14 new members I onboarded. Filomena?s had the space and the location nestled... in the center of the 14 different school district food service directors. From my first contact with Mike on email to meetinghim and his staff in person they were friendly and accommodating to my needs to have a private area for 14 of us. The menu wasperfect for a working lunch meeting. And the food was prepared and served in a professional yet relaxing way. I was so happywith the food, service, and location. Let me tell you about Mike and Filomena's and this isn't just the wine talking. They are courteous. They are attentive. The... food is amazing and the service??? Mo and the crew, with our prefix party of 14, kept the plates cleared, drinks filled, and thefood coming. This is the second graduation party we've had here and if it wasn't for the fact that I have no more children, I'dbook them every single time. They are amazing. 10 of 10 would recommend. Get the Italian Sausage Sandwich -- it's delicious! My daughter got the chicken wings, which had a really nice batter as well. ... Service was really friendly (I think the owner was our waiter). They mistakenly brought out the wrong entree for my wife, butcheerfully took it back and replaced it pretty quickly with the correct dish. Plenty of outdoor seating with umbrellas. Read more

We had a private party at Filomena?s on 9/18/22 and it was fantastic! Mike the owner made the entire day so easy for us and the... party went seamlessly. The had a few hurdles along the way including having to cancel our party in May due to getting Covid andthen day of we had more people show than anticipated! Mike didn?t bat an eye at any of these obstacles. He was amazing inhandling everything with ease and his staff were so kind and accommodating. The room we were in easily fit 35 people and theyset up the tables with nice linens and offered cake cutting service. You have to try the chicken parm from here, it was so tastyand don?t get me started on the espresso martinis! If you are looking for a private party venue so you don?t have to lift afinger on your special day, this is your place. Read more
