The service is great and the prices are pretty good. The food itself is a bit limited for my liking but I'm sure other people... find the selection to be plenty. I'd love to see a few more 'standard' dishes be added as in my experience the current selectionis very unique and tailors to specific individuals. Adding more drinks would also be great. Would love to see some cocktails ornon alcoholic alternatives. I do find the deserts to be good. You can tell that they're made healthier than regular store baughtcakes or sweats, which is a bonus. I took my business partner here for a dinner and we were well pleased. The restaurant decor creates a calm and elegant... atmosphere. I've been going to this Symposium every now and then since it opened years ago. Always a friendly staff and classic decor so... it's a good place to go hangout and enjoy some desserts. As always their cake was great, slightly pricey but worth the bucks. Ithink they can work on their coffees though, I've actually never had food here only coffees and desserts, these alone are worth4 stars for me, if coffee gets better I would rate it higher. Read more

Expensive Food, Slow Service, Poor Communication Going out for a celebration, requires little to no effort to have a good time.... However, it took no effort for this restaurant to show us what isn't a good time. When my party first entered, we were greetedby expensive price tags and slow-to act servers. After waiting half an hour to order food, it finally came another wait later insmall portions not worth its price. When ordering the server didn't ask which sauce to go on the wings, and when they came ithad some spicy sauce that wasn't to our liking. Earlier in our meal, we had asked about the special which was Date NightThursday. The server told us it includes 2 entrees, an app, dessert, and 2 drinks. Later when asking about the deal again, theserver told us that only certain entrees are included, so we ended up paying full price for food we didn't enjoy. This could goon for longer, but in summary it was not a good choice for a celebration and it will not be a choice for future ones.
