Greatest pizza anywhere around! If you like spicy food ask for their homemade spicy pepper to add to your pizza! A little goes a... long way and it?s phenomenal! I will definitely be a regular here ?? Read more
Food was good and the service also.
Went for Valentine's Day. They were out of prime rib by 8pm so I ordered a Ribeye, husband had New York Strip, my daughter had 8... oz sirloin. They were so over crusted with seasoning that it was inedible. The meat was of good quality and cooked perfectlymedium rare, so not sure why it was so coated with whatever that seasoning was. I don't want to dislike my Valentine's dinnerbut that's the truth. The server did not ask how our meals were (or I would've mentioned that our food was overseasoned), butdid well with drink refills. I washed the steak off in the tap and warmed it in the microwave the next day and it was delicious.My daughter ordered lava cake and received basically a frozen chocolate hockey puck on a plate, which they did correct when wewent up to the bar and pointed it out. We would've let our server know, but she really didn't check on us after she dropped itin front of her, and stood with her back to us at the cash register. We spent over $150 on our dinner and it was mostlyinedible. Historically we have had great experiences at The Winchester (that's why 4 stars) so I'm assuming this was a busynight with a limited menu. We will return because the prime rib is usually phenomenal. ? Again, I am sorry for the complaints. Iam almost positive our next visit will be 5 stars and I will edit my review at that time. ***The manager sent me a Facebookmessage upset about my review so I did edit this to add more detail.
