This is a fantastic place to stop for a bite! So many great menu items that it was hard to decide what we were going to eat on... our first visit. If you haven't been, the menu is comprised of classic American foods, but with a wonderful "hobo" twist. Thegirls working up front were very kind and attentive (when required), setting a great mood for guests coming in. When wearrived, there was one family there (about 1.5hrs before closing). Upon leaving, it was pretty much a full house. Great foodwith plenty of food to fill your belly. See you guys again soon! Read more

Friendly service and great food! I ordered the fried cheese ravioli with marinara sauce, which was one of the daily specials. I... will go back for it again someday. Read more

Their burgers are delicious! Fresh and made to order. You must try the box car fries! These are no ordinary fries. Wide and... thick potato spirals, coated and fried. There's nothing like them. Quality, delicious food and super nice people. Great forlunch or dinner. And unique cheese cake creations. Update 09/22/2022: I had the hobo cob salad for dinner. Nicely seasoned andmoist grilled chicken with fresh greens and other stuff. So very good and filing. Their fried pickles and fried green tomatoesare cooked just right and delicious. Dessert today was mocha fudge cheesecake... amazing... see photo. Read more

What a cool little diner! A very simple menu with salads and burgers. I had the Hobo Harvest salad: a very generous portion of... fresh mixed greens with walnuts, apples, craisins, blue cheese crumbles and tasty chicken. It was delicious! The friedartichokes were perfect? a light tempura-style batter kept them light and crunchy. The staff were friendly and cheerful. We weregreeted as soon as we walked in. This was definitely a 5-Star experience. Read more

Been multiple times. Burgers may be the best in Athens area. Fried shrimp basket and fish/chips really good. Variety of sides... most places don?t have. Fried okra some of best anywhere. Read more
