Waited entirely too long for an over cooked baked cod. All u can eat?? It was hard to chew. Very dry. I couldn't eat anymore.... Our dining guests were also very unhappy with the food. One of our party didn't eat he food. Some ordered more fish and wewaited a half hour for that, on top of the hour we already waited for our first serving. Things came out in an odd order. Sideswere served right away and just set on the table, and 45 min later when the fish came, all I had was about an ounce and a halfof the dry room temp cod on my plate. It was horrible. It was literally our worst dining experience ever. We got up and pouredout own water from the pitcher left at another table. The room was loud, hard to hear our own conversation. Our server was verypolite and gracious. He could sense our displeasure, but failed to ask if they could fix anything...it just seemed he wasn'ttrained well. I don't like leaving bad reviews, and like to give the restaurant an opportunity to redeem themselves. But thisscenario and food quality is better left to what it was, for me. Read more
Made reservation for 745 got seated at about 805. Another 15 mins go as we’re seated no server or drinks so my partner went to... the bar to get them. About 830 hit finally got our order taken. Great steak, convenient location for us (1st time we dined in), and nice family style vibes. However the delivery option has... also been really convenient when you want a bit more high end but the ease of delivery. Will continue to enjoy thisestablishment and recommend it. Read more
My family's experience was a lot like the food: bland. One family member ordered a glass of wine and got some free hair along... with it. Either from the kitchen staff or the bartender. I noticed it as soon as it was placed on the table by the waiter. Weall ordered different entrees but the same sides. The garlic mashed potatoes were lukewarm, had the texture as if they weresitting in the pan or under a heat lamp for a long time, and felt crusty. The buttered garlic pasta was also not a big hit.Overbearing pepper taste. This was the general consensus at the table. I ordered the porterhouse of pork and could immediatelytell it was overcooked. The second I cut into it I could tell it was dry to the bone. It was very tough and from what I couldtaste, it was quite bland and lacked flavor. Those who ordered it could not finish it due to it's dryness and absence offlavor. The french fries were crispy and tasted just "okay." It was quite apparent they used the same oil for the fries as theydid the fish. There was a distinct fishy taste to the fries. There were only a few other people in the dining room during the90 minutes we were there. Kind of surprising since it was prime dinner time. The atmosphere is pretty cool from a historicalpoint of view but that's about it. This place give me the impression it should be on one of Gordon Ramsay's shows. It's in needof some help. Whoever is working the grill and running the line needs to learn to cook. The only positive thing I can say isthat our server, Arthur, was polite and courteous towards us. Very pleased with our first visit. Stopped by Saturday around 7:30, dinner crowd seem to be over. We were seated right away,... had some fantastic service and drinks almost immediately. Food came out incredibly fast and everything was delicious. We willdefinitely be back again! Only downfall is the parking. Lot is very small but plenty of street parking available. Read more
