Great place! Our order accidentally got delivered to the wrong table. Management was on top of it. Quickly reordered our food.... We had the fish tacos! They were awesome.. seasoned perfectly. Great place to hangout, watch the game and eat!! Read more
I was in Bay St. Louis around noon today, 10/08/2022, to purchase Cruisin the Coast t-shirts. The crowd was large, as always.... But...as I walked up to the trailer to get my shirt, there was a disabled man whose motorized shooter's batter had died at theentrance to the event shirt location. He'd finally been able to stop 2 event workers on a "gator" type cart for help; they toldhim to go to the guy at the gate (20 yards away). The man had one leg, and had a scooter that wouldn't move 2 inches much less20 yards! Since absolutely no one in the vicinity of the man would even acknowledge him, I told the man I'd go to the man atthe gate for him - to get him help. The man at the gate to me to go to Dan B's restaurant and ask for Daniel or his dad...so, Idid. Those 2 men and 2 more men from Dan B's staff STOPPED WHAT THEY WERE DOING IN THE MIDDLE OF THE BUSIEST TIME OF THE DAY togo help a man in need! Y'all- if you eat anywhere in Bay St Louis, MS, PLEASE make one of your stops be Dan B's! This is anamazing group of people working for an amazing family...you see...Daniel is the owner of the restaurant and he truly cares abouthis community! I said all this to thank them for helping 2 people they don't even know - the disabled man, and myself. Theycould easily have sent me on to the next person to get help for a man I don't even know (never asked his name). I am well awarethe MS Gulf Coast is a unique place - and these men only solidify that reason! Read more
Took a drive from NOLA to drive by the beach and look at stuff. Stopped for lunch at Dan B's, intending to sit on the 3rd floor... to have lunch overlooking the Gulf. Unfortunately, due to lack of employees, only the first floor was open for seating. Iordered and sat outside. It was a beautiful day. I ordered a shrimp salad and couple of Coronas. The beer was cold and tasty. Iwas disappointed a bit at the small size of the shrimp, but overall it was tasty and the server was smiley and friendly. Thestreet is nice. I like it.
