Maybe I just got them on a bad day but I am bemused by all the good reviews. This was hands down the worst meal I have ever had... at a restaurant. I had the chopped steak from the gluten free menu. The minced beef was burnt on the outside and undercooked inthe middle (this was minced meat not an actual steak) and so dry it was inedible, the vegetables tasted and looked like theywere from a can and the baked potato was cold and soggy. The pizza my kids had looked good and my wife's dish (pumpkintortellini) was average at best. If you want pizza or pasta maybe they're OK but I can definitely say if you are gluten free donot go here - I am amazed than any chef would have let my dish leave the kitchen if they had any self respect or pride in whatthey do. Out of the world Amazing food. Egg plant Parmigiano perfect! Chicken cacciatore cooked to perfection! White Clam sauce... unbelievable..so many classic & sauce perfect. Today was our first visit to The Villa Restaurant. It definitely won't be our last. The staff is personable and friendly, the... service was impeccable and the food absolutely delicious. We ordered the Stuffed Shells and the Chicken Parm & Spinach Lasagnacombo with spaghetti. Everything, including the house salad, was fresh and prepared perfectly! Our server, Joe, was friendly,polite, and took good care of us. They had a magician this evening, Fran Flynn, who came by and performed a few tricks for us.He's great!
