The food was superb! However, for the price, the whole experience should match. There were a number of back-and-forths about... surcharges (cake cutting $2/pp, $8 splitting fee for 2 children on a $46 entree, $3 per extra hushpuppy... etc). The charges areunderstandable, but how it was handled and brought up at every turn really took away from the experience. Our total was $400 for4 adults and 2 kids (including wine) but it felt like we were being nickle-n-dimed a bit too much at this price level. With alittle extra warmth and hospitality, it could be a really special place! Read more

Food was A+, management / ownership a little frazzled. We were allowed to sit down without a reservation but the restaurant... never made it more than 1/2 full. Kitchen approved our 5 course meal which was on the menu for the weekend and it was reallygood. The server was really on point, she knew her wine and food, spaced everything very nicely. They didn’t have abartender so they couldn’t make any mocktails but had plenty of wine. Dessert was nice but we were so full. Recommend justshowing up if you can’t get a reservation, they told someone on the phone they couldn’t accommodate but the space wasliterally empty. I’ll go back and try more! Gorgeous facility and props to the chefs Read more

I don’t eat out often as I am too regularly disappointed. This evening was exceptional. I was served a perfectly cooked... scallop entree full of well curated flavors and seasoned to perfection.Try the cheese course and the chai crème brûlée.I’ll be visiting again soon. Fantastic! Read more

This is probably my top meal that I've had in WNC so far. I recommend this place to people who ask me where to eat. Love the... farm to table concept and being able to see where the food is coming from on the cute hanging chalkboard. Service was on point, great ambience, food was well done and flavorful. Some of my highlights were the scallops (seared nicely, perfect acidity, cooked perfectly), the brine on the pork chop was superb and really kept the meat tender and juicy (char flavor was clutch too),the Korean bbq pork belly was crazy good as well, loved all the varietals of mushrooms in the pasta! Super impressed with thetechnically flawless meal from start to finish. Food was all hot as well which I really appreciated! I made time to thank thechefs personally after the meal. Great job guys! Highly recommend and wish it was closer to Asheville so I could eat here moreregularly, but worth the drive either way. Great way to spoil my parents while they were in town visiting! ????????????
