Honestly, the cake is delicious - that part is accurate! But they were not able to give us our dream wedding cake vision simply... because of their own personal view point on dyes... the only reason I went with buttercream Bakery instead of another baker wasbecause our venue had a promotion contract with them where our cake would be free through them. Our cake looked nothing likewhat we had expected. We ask for hexagon cake and it was round, they told us to leave the flowers on the cake table and whenthey dropped it off they would add the flowers for me, they did not - I had to make my maid of honor do it last minute. If youhave a vision as to what you would like your cake to be, go somewhere else. If you don't care about appearance and just wantdelicious cake. This Bakery is for you. Read more
Did not honor anniversary cake promise. They changed their policies after our wedding, and did not honor a previous contract to... provide one complimentary cake for your anniversary. If you do business with Buttercream you can expect that they will bait andswitch. Read more
We could not have been happier with the David and the Buttercream Cakes team. We loved the variety of flavors to choose from, we... were able to pick a different flavor for each cake tier and 4 different flavors for the cupcakes. The cakes were as beautiful asthey were delicious. We had 110 guests and ordered enough cake/cupcakes for 140 and had just a few cupcakes left so it is safeto say the cake was a hit with our guests! Our cake from Buttercream was just plain scrumptious. The flavors were decadent and delicious. The frosting was amazing and the... design was spot-on. They were great to work with and everything went super smoothly. They have a partnership with our venue,Chanhassen Dinner Theatres, and we never worried about a thing. A heads-up: they are able to do gluten-free requests, but notvegan. We had to supply our own vegan cupcakes for a few of our guests, but that was just fine with us. Read more

We got a cake and cupcakes for our wedding here. We did a tasting in the Minnetonka store, it was so laid back and convenient.... The one issue we had was the cake style/design we picked (from a rather large selection) wasn?t communicated so we ended uphaving to last-minute remake a decision. Otherwise a perfect experience and obviously the deserts were amazing!!! We will beusing them again in the future. Read more
