I love the vibe/ambience of this place. We ordered the pumpkin bisque as an app. It was too spicy for our liking. I got the... loaded sweet pepper as an entree and was extremely disappointed. It was very bland. My partner got the Canterbury chicken butenjoyed his every bite. The drinks were decent. Stave & Still has potential. I hardly ever leave reviews, but I just had to for this place. This was my husband and I's first time going and I fell in love... from the minute we walked in. Its super vibey-the decor is very original. Great atmosphere, clean, and comfortable. Everyone wassuper friendly, and our waiter (who I think was the manager and/or owner) was exceptional. A friend mentioned Stave & Still and their creative menu so four of us had dinner on a Saturday evening. We were surprised that... Webster had such a smartly decorated restaurant. Dinner consisted of a wedge salad with crumbled gorgonzola and gorgonzolacream, perfectly seared diver sea scallops, very tender bourbon cowboy tenderloin tips with tasty loaded mashed, and littlepiggy slow cooked pork with delicious white cheddar jalapeño mac & cheese and buttermilk biscuits. Bread pudding for dessertwas delicious. The service was excellent with the owners stopping by our table and answered our questions about the restauranthistory and drink origins. Our unexpected date night took us not even 5mins from home to a pleasantly surprising lil hole in the wall that I had heard of... but never tried. The stave and still on main street in webster. I can be... ok I am, very picky and judgemental about food. Thisplace was an AMAZING little diamond in the rough. The atmosphere was great. The menu, and names were so creative. The service wegot from Craig was top notch. The drinks were beautiful and delicious. Our food was gorgeously presented and delicious. Mymonkfish was perfect with a delectible sauce and the asparagus I could cut with a butter knife but still had a perfectcrispness. David's steak was cooked PERFECTLY, so juicy, and that glaze was mouth watering. My jaw literally dropped when theybrought out this gigantic piece of carrot cake. They make in house with pecans!! What a great place!! Loved the decor and vibe. Drink and food menu offered is unique, tastey and fun! I think what this family... is doing is awesome.
