Terrible service, acceptable ice cream.
Jp is my fav ice cream store. The one here in Wellesley is great because the kids who work there are all super polite and kind.
Been a long time since I visited a J P Licks and I have to wonder why? Excellent ice cream in a wide variety of flavors (salted... caramel cookies and cream!), including non-dairy and frozen yogurt offerings. As a bonus (or maybe not?) this particular storehad bakery items and the caramelized puff pastry creation was amazing! Read more
Have had issues with under-filled containers. A packed quart weighs about 900 gms and recently I purchased two quarts which... weighed in the low 700's. Sadly, the staff working there are mainly high school kids who sometimes don't have the best workethic and get lazy with the packing, especially on busy days or at the end of a shift. At $15 quart this is unacceptable.Management needs to get involved with this issue. To be fair, the ice cream is very good and the management did refund my money. Read more
