Bill's Chowder House is a bit off the main drag but it not only offers a nice view of the backwaters and marsh, it's a great... place to eat. Large party of 12 were seated for a late lunch around 2:00 pm on a Friday afternoon. Our waitress Brook wasfriendly and attentive. We started with a tasty rum punch. For lunch we had clam chowder, baked scallops, fish & chips, steamedclams, and Caesar salad. Kids had a grilled cheese and chicken fingers with fries. The clams were fresh and sautéed in winesauce.
