Just paid over $10 for rice, noodles and veggies. All stuff that cost literally cents. I've tried eating here multiple times... now. They mess something up EVERYTIME. I'll go somewhere else for now Read more

The worst Panda Express I have ever had. The chow mien was chopped up in little pieces and didn?t have much flavor. We ordered... fire chicken with the pineapple. Got something completely different.The walnut shrimp was very dry. No walnuts.I?ve had a lot ofPanda Express and never been disappointed till now. Card and exact change only to pay for your food. Fountain machine for drinks is out of order. Already running out of certain... entrees at 0620. No steamed rice. I felt like they were ordering my food for me. Only positive was there was only one other carin drive through. ???? Read more

To start, I did come 30 minutes before close - I feel this is relevant information for this review. I am not one to leave... reviews in general but I figure the management should know so that maybe next time it wont be as awful of an experience. Ipulled up to the drive through and was asked if I wanted to try something (they were out of) and then asked to hold. Someonecame on and I was told they only had rice (not specified the type of rice), and maybe some chow mein coming, they were also outof orange chicken and walnut shrimp. I said okay am I able to order now, the reply was "ummmmm I guess" so I began my order,first order, we are out of that, second try, we are out of that, third try we are out of that. Finally I asked what do you haveright now? I was met with 4 items. Second order I asked for white rice, which surprise they were out of. The attitude was awfulwhen snapping all of this to me. I was not the first customer in line nor the last. I understand they were closing in 30 minutesbut you were not yet closed. I have worked in the service industry nearly all of my working life. I understand everyone has baddays, or busy nights and you get over it really quick. I can not imagine that treating customers this way and allowing all ofyour menu with the exception of 4 items to run out prior to close is how management would expect this location to be ran. AnywayI enjoy Panda for what it is and I have fast food expectations when I go there, but even those were not met. Read more

Update: this location seems to have improved quite a bit. I've been through the drive-thru a few times in the past month and... they have been far faster than before. I'm changing this review to 5 stars until proven otherwise. ... Previous experiencebelow... I AM SHOCKED AND AMAZED at how slow the drive thru is at the 3051 S Colt Plaza Dr, West Valley City UT location. Itall started when I pulled into the back of the long drive thru line at around 7:20 PM on Saturday (11/13/2021). After about 10minutes I realized the line had literally not moved an inch. I considered leaving and going to another restaurant, Butultimately I decided to park and go inside the store to see if my luck would be better. Once inside, I still had to wait around20 minutes to get my food, but this was nothing compared to the pain people in the drive thru were experiencing. While waitingin line, I kept an eye on the blue van that had been in front of me in the drive thru. I knew it was the same van because it hada handicap sticker on the license plate. As I slowly but surely moved forward in line, I was astonished to see that the drivethru line still did not move. I soon noticed that the workers in the restaurant were moving at a snail's pace and giving verylittle attention to the drive thru customers. I believe there was only one girl in charge of all drive thru orders whileeveryone else was clamoring uselessly around the kitchen. Imagine my amazement when I walked out of the store with my food onlyto see the van which had been in front of me was still not even close to ordering. My astonishment compounded when I finished myentire meal before that van EVEN RECEIVED THEIRS. What I saw at this store today was an utter lack of organization and utterlaziness on the part of the workers in this restaurant. This is what $10 of a medium sized la carte box of their walnut shrimp gets you. I waited 20 minutes in the drive through that?s... always backed up for this, just to get a box that was half full! How is this okay? I would much rather drive 2 minutes north andsupport a local family owned Chinese restaurant and get 10 times this portion for the same price. This is not okay. What a ripoff.
