You should know that I frequent Oscar's on Hwy 100 often. I have not reviewed this restaurant in quite awhile. That being said... the most important thing I want to say is the counter people are incredible. The order was taken quickly, with a smile, andaccurately. The food was hot and delicious. The cooks at the grill are visibly experts and the burgers, curds, and rings weregrilled and prepared to perfection. Everything was still hot when I served it at home two miles away. This used to be someplace I liked to go that had decent food? that has clearly changed. Dined there today after not having been... there in awhile, food was very low grade, looked bad and tasted even worse. I was starving and I still couldn?t stomach it all-it was that hard to get down despite all the grease. Felt so sick right after eating the burger, and stomach is crampinghorribly. Stopped in this location yesterday on the lunch hour. I have to say that the first thing I noticed was the camaraderie of the... staff. They all seemed happy and moved with hustle! My family has loved your custard since the start! It's our first choice when we go out for our favorite treat. This was my... brother's first job (like 20+ years ago), it's my favorite place for a burger and a shake, and my mom calls in for 1-2 halfgallons of her favorite flavors a few times a month! My only complaint is that in recent months, no one answers the phones.Tonight for example (8/31/22), I called 4 times with the first one being just after 8pm and all the phone did was ring and ring,every time. I ended up calling the location in Waukesha just to be able to get some of today's flavor on hold for pick uptomorrow because I didn't have time to run out and pick some up today, and they answered after the first ring.. Hopefully thisis a relatively easy fix, because we love Oscar's Frozen Custard and I'd love to give you the 5 star rating that you otherwisedeserve! Read more
