Ate outside, service was friendly and good, food is very good and can't beat being right on the pier!
We visited Seagull for the first time yesterday because we wanted to go somewhere with outdoor seating by the water. We... definitely enjoyed the atmosphere and view by the docks, but the service and food left much to be desired. When we first walkedin, nobody acknowledged us or asked how many people were in our party for seating. Several servers walked past us, and we had toawkwardly ask one of them if there was a waiting list. We were told it was going to be a 10 minute wait, but we ended up waiting20+ minutes and watching as other parties before and after us got seated. In hindsight, we probably should've taken all that asa sign to abandon ship and go somewhere else. We put in our orders and had to wait half an hour for our appetizer, then another30-40 minutes for our entrees to come. Our baked clams were okay but were gritty and tasted very similar to the frozen bakedclams you can get from the supermarket. During our long wait for our food, a couple servers came by to ask if we neededanything... Weird because what we needed was our food, nothing else. When the Caribbean BBQ Shrimp wrap arrived, we weredisappointed to find that it was cold and the shrimp was battered and fried instead of barbecued as stated in the menu. At thatpoint, it was past 9pm and we didn't want to wait any longer to have it corrected. The seafood medley was good but not goodenough to make up for the rest of the night. We had a great time at the seagull. They had a post tournament golf gathering at the bar but even with that going on we were... able to be served and got great drinks. We came up by boat and there were plenty of slips although I think most people are doneboating but it was a lot of fun. The music was good too. Read more
