Green Apple on Cooley Lake Rd is a Great Restaurant! The other location is awesome too. But right now I'm addressing the... location on Cooley Lake Rd. Over this past year, my wife has been getting the goulash from the Cooley Lake location and sheloves it! And every time it's a take-out order. And the staff is very kind and friendly! A place with delicious home cooked food.. They had stuffed peppers and cabbage. Not to many restaurants have a meal like that.... That's just a couple item's. They have meatloaf n other dishes that you would find your grandma or your mom making in thekitchen. I had the stuffed cabbage the other day and oh my goodness, that food was off the chain. I love the green apple, been going with family and friends for as long as I can remember. I'd 1000% recommend. Breakfast, lunch,... or dinner, they're amazing. We do enjoy going to this establishment.... but kinda getting annoyed with the waitress the some call the "squeaky voiced one" l... would describe her as more fast talking, inpatient one.... like she tries to rush you when taking your order. Can't finish yoursentence before she's asking you "what else do you want".... like I know you've been in this industry a long time mame, but slowdown and let a customer get their thought out clearly so you don't have to keep questioning them. The lamb shish kabob was as tough and dry as shoe leather, and the green beans that came with it were overcooked and lukewarm.... The rice was supposed to have some kind of Greek red sauce on it that actually tasted like pizza sauce. But at least it wasedible. Overall, disappointed.
