New owner is chauvinist. I was first at the counter. Owner acknowledged and spoke to me. I was waiting at lotto counter. Old... owner came into store and struck up a conversation with new owner. Subsequently 2 people came to the counter and were servicedby new owner while I was still waiting and YES owner could see me. Finally deli counter woman came to take my lotto money. Iwon't be treated like a second class citizen in America because the owner's culture devalues women. I won't go back there. Read more
I knew they had pizza, but no idea that they had sandwiches, so I decided to order a steak, mushroom and cheese sub. I was... bummed when they told me that they had no steak (just my luck!), so I ordered a corned beef one instead. Since the staffrealized I had never had a sandwich there before they told me to take a menu. I familiarized myself with it while I waited. WhenI got to the register, I was surprised that I was asked for almost $10 when the menu clearly states $6.99. I made mention of itand the debate among staff began....and they all agreed that I should only pay the $6.99 menu price even though their prices"have gone up". I was then told $8.08. How did they come to that? Whatever. I got tired of being disappointed and just wantedto leave. On a positive note....the sandwich was very good! This place and the people who work there are amazing. After work I stopped to get some seltzers, the guy behind the counter... (didn?t get his name, what a shame) was super pleasant, completed my transaction and headed to my car. Get to my car and realizesomehow my car key came off my key ring and I am stranded. He helped me look for my key while helping customers and just when Ithought I was SOL he thought, he would check the seltzers I bought and it was there!! Who knows what I would have done if hehadn?t found it for me! When I recover from my embarrassment I will definitely be back! Read more
