One of the rare places where the spice level matched my expectation. Great great indian food! The ambience is really cosy and... the staff is welcoming. Something I saw for the first time at a restaurant in US is complimentary food items at the beginning ofthe meal. Allows you to settle in the restaurant and decide about what you want to order. They gave papads with a chutneyplatter- 3 options. The sweet tamarind chutney was the best. We ordered a lunch special and I was amazed at the quantity for theprice. For $11.99, they had a paneer thali which consisted of 3 paneer sabzi options, one vegetable of the day, basmati rice,choice of naan or roti and one sweet. It was more than enough for one person. We got a paneer makhani special and a tawa paneerspecial. The naan could have been buttery because it was soft but tasted dry. The dal makhani was oozing butter and the firstbite was bliss. The onion kulcha wasn’t anything special; I would rather get the naan with proper butter. The chaats lookedtempting too and I saw amazing photos in reviews but didn’t try today. Definitely 5star place. First of all, foods are delicious. I ordered Samosa Chaat and expecting only ordinary samosa, however it... is something perfect. Very tasty. You can taste it from the pictures ???? And my second order was paner tikka masala. It is myfav Indian food and always order it. It was perfect, butter Naan was also perfect. Wile passing infront of it, it's name tookmy eyes. It was sound like a Turkish name. After quick Google search, I saw it is an Indian restaurant and changed my way togive a chance. The ambience was good, quiet place, good service and staff was courteous. Affordable Parking space available Nicely maintained... and clean Starters were good-palak chaat, and kurkuri bhindi were served ontime. For kurkuri bhindi Felt like it wasn’tprepared immediately since it was cold but taste wise it was good. Trio Chicken was very delicious. It was soft, tender ,wellmarinated and cooked. I would say it’s must try for people who prefers to have non-veg. Dal makhni and panner dilruba was alsotasty. Considering the Quantity,price was justified. Had dinner at Tashan for first time and ordered Grilled Vegetables as appetizer. Daal Bukhara and Malai kofte alongside Garlic... Naan as main course. All the items were spot on but Daal Bukhara and Naan are the best you are going to get in New Jersey. Read more

Great Customer Service. Great Interior. Great Food. This is the first in New Jersey where I taste the Tandoor smoke favors.... Every single curry has different taste, this is so rare to find.
