Email I just sent to the restaurant: I had to write to tell you about the exceptional wait staff at the Liberty Center... location. My wife and I stayed at the AC Hotel this weekend and stopped by North Star Cafe for breakfast on Saturday. Therestaurant was packed. However, the wait staff was very fast, professional, and friendly! There was a slight delay in gettingpart of our order out, but I was rewarded with a complimentary drink coupon for the ?inconvenience?. We enjoyed our experienceso much that we came back again for breakfast on Sunday. We needed a table cleaned off and a staff member, whose job wasn?t toclean off tables, quickly cleaned our table with a smile. While eating, I saw a young lady staff person who didn?t currentlyhave an assignment, walking around looking for something to help with. She ended up clearing a table and getting water for somecustomers. I was amazed. Someone her age typically would be looking at their phone until given an assignment by theirmanager. It was also nice to see this location was fully staffed, and could quickly handle an influx of customers. To top thisall off, the restaurant was clean, beautifully designed, and the music was playing at a perfect volume. Stopped here on s Saturday for a late brunch and not sure what to expect but hoping for a good experience. My wife and I got... that and more. The food was very delicious, fresh, and priced/portioned right. The place was very clean, and could tell was runvery efficient with how great the service was but the quality of food didn?t suffer at all. The staff members we encounteredwere very friendly and genuinely seemed happy and wanted to insure we were enjoying our visit. One of the main reasons we willreturn along with the food quality. This is a great place for brunch. The best burger was fantastic. I also got the coffee there, which is def serve, so I never had... to worry about asking a waiter to fill my coffee when I needed it. They had three different varieties to choose from. Thepancakes are also really good! You can also get mimosas, bloody Mary?s and other alcoholic beverages if that is your flavor. Themimosa was a little on the champagn-y side and not very orange juicy, but it did look like it was freshly squeezed orange juice. Read more
This place has phenomenal food. Everything was great from pan cakes to fish sandwich to mushroom Frittata. We specifically... loved the fresh smoothies. They were the right consistency and tasted of fresh fruit and less crushed ice. Slightly on theexpensive side but the food quality was top notch. Top of the list for breakfast/ brunch. Read more

Great food, experience and service. My fiance took me there as a surprise breakfast before I traveled the next day. The cookies... were so delicious. Hot chocolate was perfect. Eggs and biscuit with strawberry on the side were so good. Highly recommend,especially for couples. Read more
